Nessa’s Secret Closet

I’ll be honest with you, pet… sometimes I just need five minutes away from Kara and our Mackenzie with her mirrors and lights and “darling, confidence is everything” speeches. So I slip in here… my little secret closet. It’s quiet, it’s mine, and it’s where I can just be. I’ll run my fingers along the fabrics, soft lace, smooth satin, bits that feel nice against your skin when the day’s been a bit much… and this is where the real chats happen. Not the polished stuff, not the “you’ve got this, girl” lines we say out loud, but the honest bits. The things you’d tell your best mate when no one else is listening. The awkward moments, the little confidence knocks, the times you don’t quite feel like yourself. That’s what this space is for. Just me, you… and the truth, without all the noise.

Ramblings:

Right, let’s just say it straight… G-strings, have they gone out of fashion? Nah, not really. They just dip in and out, like everything does. One minute it’s all big comfy knickers and “we’re done with all that,” next minute everyone’s back in something a bit cheeky again. But here’s the thing… I don’t think they were ever meant to be everyday, all-day wear. Not unless you’re built differently or you’ve found some miracle one that doesn’t feel like it’s got a personal vendetta against you by lunchtime.

People love to say they’re only there for show… like they exist purely for someone else to look at. And yeah, alright, they are a bit provocative. You put one on and you know exactly what it’s doing. It’s not subtle. But I don’t buy that it’s just for anyone else. Sometimes it’s for you. Sometimes it’s that little switch in your head where you go, “okay… I feel a bit more like myself today.”

It’s not about impressing anyone. It’s more like… armour, but the quiet kind. No one else needs to know you’ve got it on. You just stand a bit differently, walk a bit differently. Even if you’re just nipping to the shops or sat at home with a brew.

Would I say they’re the most practical thing in the world? Absolutely not. There’s days where comfort wins, no question. But writing them off as just “entertainment” feels a bit unfair. They’ve got their place. Not every day, not for every mood… but when you want that little boost, that little reminder that you’ve still got it in you? Yeah… they do the job.
